Abstract
The work investigates the relationship between political representation in terms of color/race, gender and divergent sexuality in the elections for the Chamber of Deputies in 2014, 2018 and 2022 with campaign financing for these groups. We used descriptive research based on data collected from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), focusing on the color/race and gender of registered and elected candidates. For LGBTQIA+ candidates and elected officials, the data was complemented with information from reports broadcast virtually. The research shows an increase in candidate registrations and the election of women, black people and LGBTQIA+ in the last election (2022), as well as an increase in revenue participation for black men and women.
