Estudos Eleitorais is a biannual publication (ISSN 1414-5146) released by the Electoral Judicial School of the Superior Electoral Court (EJE/TSE), with the mission of fostering intellectual production, study, research, and scientific dialogue on issues of political-electoral process and citizenship.  

The journal accepts manuscripts in the format of scientific, theoretical, empirical, or methodological articles; case studies; essays; commentaries on jurisprudence or on national, foreign, or international legislation; reviews of legal works and revision of specialized literature, to ensure epistemic plurality and interdisciplinarity and thus offer a broad and substantive approach to the most relevant issues for the advancement of the democratic debate. Contributions from Brazil and abroad are accepted.
